The Dog Owners Group of the Seacoast, located in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, is a non-profit community corporation that creates, fosters and promotes responsible pet ownership.

OUR MISSION:

To promote positive relationships between canines, their owners and other community members. To maintain an association that promotes responsible behavior by dogs and their owners. To promote pet health and safety, and the health and safety of all community members who interact with pets.

DOG IN THE SPOTLIGHT:

Colby better known as Colbs to his mom Sarah was graciously rescued last February. Adopted from Stratham SPCA Colby has found a loving family where he can be his independent self. The dog park of Portsmouth has been a relatively new discovery for Colby and his mom. Colby is greatly enjoying the social opportunities’ he has here says his mom. Colby has one sister; however she is a working dog and is unable to enjoy in the fun he so much likes to have. Dogs have been known to do anything from “give paw”, “sit” or “speak” for their food , but Colby will be found dancing for his. And not dancing for a fancy pup food is Colby but human food says his mom. After a few good scraps Colby enjoys a nice long car ride that ends in a good game of fetch. Sarah and Colby would like to pass along a message on behalf of all the dogs in a shelter today. Please consider adopting the next four legged friend. There are many unique, loving and beautiful pets out there just waiting for there forever home like Colby (Colbs).
