Not a place to park your dog, but a place where dogs can run free, romp and play with their canine friends and their owners.

The Dog Owners Group of Portsmouth believes that it is important for dogs to interact with other dogs (socialization), have an environment that is conducive to aerobic exercise and a place where training can occur. This is why we think it is so important to maintain open areas in our city where our dogs can just be dogs.

Dog Park of Portsmouth is located near downtown between South Mill Pond and the public tennis courts, in an area known as the South Mill Park.
